Nilaveli is a long, pristine beach near Trincomalee, regarded as one of the least crowded stretches of sand in Sri Lanka. Its exceptional water clarity makes it ideal for snorkelling and diving. Just offshore, Pigeon Island National Park shelters blacktip reef sharks and vibrant coral gardens. Best visited between May and October for perfect conditions.
